Aurora, a leading production company, has been appointed as the host broadcaster for the inaugural Soccer7sSeries Singapore 2025. This new global football tournament platform is set to bring together clubs, legends, and emerging male and female talent from around the world.
The Soccer7sSeries is a unique global 7-a-side football tournament platform that aims to unite clubs, legends, and budding male and female talent from across the globe. Clubs from Brazil, Germany, China, England, Japan and Southeast Asia are represented in this series. Notable participants include Borussia Dortmund, Corinthians, Persib Bandung, Vasco da Gama, QPR, Selangor FC, Hashtag United and Shanghai Shenhua.
The Masters event will feature legends from Leicester City’s Premier League-winning squad of 2015–16 alongside other former internationals. The matches promise to be fast-paced with high-scoring action designed for live stadium crowds as well as digital-first audiences.
Comprehensive coverage by Aurora
Scheduled between July 25-27th in Singapore's year of its diamond jubilee celebrations, the series will see Aurora delivering live coverage of a total of 94 matches across men’s, women’s, and masters tournaments. The production company plans on providing full multi-camera match coverage along with English and local language commentary,pitch-side presentation, and highlights. A global world feed will also be made available by Aurora.
Aurora's eight-camera setup includes super slow-motion cameras along with multiple RF cameras for both broadcast and digital platforms. A bespoke graphics package has been developed specifically for this series which promises an enhanced viewing experience.
Coverage will be led by pitch-side reporter Ash Hashim, accompanied by lead commentators Ellen Ellard and Rhysh Roshan Rai. They'll be joined by players & legends offering live match insights. Aurora will also support the delivery of additional digital content, highlights, and social edits across the tournament.
Digital-First production model
In line with modern trends, all matches will be streamed live on YouTube as part of a creator-led, digital-first production model. This approach aims to leverage co-streamers and influencers to amplify the action across key global markets. Additional broadcast deals are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
