Saka and Gabriel expected to feature in potential title decider showdown

Arsenal Football Club is reportedly optimistic that two of their key first-team stars, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Magalhaes, will be fit to play in the crucial Premier League fixture against Manchester City on March 31.

According to reports, both players are expected to make the Gunners' squad for the clash at Etihad Stadium. Despite returning early from international duty due to injuries, neither player's condition is believed to be serious.

Saka, a 22-year-old winger who has been nursing a long-term niggle, was treated by club and national team doctors before being sent back from training with England's Three Lions squad at St George's Park. On the other hand, Gabriel left Brazil’s camp after sustaining an apparent Achilles injury which caused him to miss his nation’s 1-0 win against England in a friendly match on March 23.

Saka has been force in attack for Arsenal throughout season

Saka has been in sensational form this season with an impressive tally of 16 goals and 13 assists across all competitions in just 37 games. His availability could prove vital as Gunners head into this high-stakes match as league leaders.

Gabriel has also played a significant role in Arsenal boasting the best defensive record in the league so far. With only 24 goals conceded across their first 28 games and ten clean sheets kept under his watchful presence at centre-back position.

Returns make Arsenal’s chances stronger ahead of Man City clash

Manager Mikel Arteta is likely eager for both players’ return as he prepares his side for their visit to reigning champions Manchester City. A victory would significantly bolster Arsenal’s title pursuit.

Currently leading the Premier League table with a superior goal difference (+6) over second-placed Liverpool - despite being level on points - every game counts for Arteta's men. The return of Saka and Gabriel could provide the much-needed boost to maintain their position at the top.

While injuries are an inevitable part of football, Arsenal fans will be relieved to hear that their key players are expected back for this crucial fixture. Their return not only strengthens the squad but also increases Arsenal's chances of securing a victory against Manchester City and maintaining their lead in the Premier League.
