There is no sign of The Gunners slipping up as they look to exert maximum pressure on champions Manchester City

Arsenal has extended their lead at the top of the Premier League, moving three points clear and significantly improving their goal difference with a crushing victory over Chelsea at Emirates Stadium. Not even the most hardened experts in UK crypto betting could have predicted such a rout at the Emirates.

This emphatic performance comes on the heels of a win against Wolverhampton Wanderers and demonstrated that title momentum is well and truly back within Mikel Arteta's team.

The Gunners' victory was marked by an impressive display of skill and strategy. Leandro Trossard settled any early nerves when he beat Chelsea keeper Djordje Petrovic at his near post. Despite occasional threats from Chelsea in the first half, Arsenal ran riot after the break.

The second goal came as Ben White turned in after Chelsea failed to clear a corner before former Stamford Bridge forward Kai Havertz struck twice in eight minutes. The second strike was a sumptuous finish from Martin Odegaard's magnificent pass.

As Chelsea subsided embarrassingly, White looped his second over Petrovic, pushing their goal difference up to +56 - 13 better than Liverpool's and 12 ahead of Manchester City - on what was pretty much the perfect night for Arsenal.

Arsenal display their bouncebackability

Following Arsenal's horror week which saw them lose at home to Aston Villa, seriously damaging their Premier League title hopes, before being knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Bayern Munich, these back-to-back wins have demonstrated the resilience of this team.

The Gunners needed a fast start which Trossard’s goal gave them; they slowly but surely rediscovered their fluency and threat that looked like it had deserted them.

At the heart of it all was captain Odegaard who displayed composure throughout, his delivery for Havertz's second goal being an elite moment allowing him to run on and fire high past Petrovic.

This resounding victory will have done wonders for self-confidence before Sunday’s crunch north London derby at Tottenham Hotspur. The game will have huge ramifications for both teams and the Premier League title race, but Arsenal's spirits will be soaring after this result and performance.

Chelsea, on the other hand, had a night to forget. They could easily have suffered greater humiliation had Arsenal taken all their chances. Their lacklustre performance was marked by missed opportunities and an apparent surrender after White made it 2-0.

The absence of talisman and leading goalscorer Cole Palmer due to illness was felt deeply as those on the pitch failed to live up to Pochettino's pre-match claim that they were not a one-man team.

This defeat had all the hallmarks of money very badly spent by Chelsea's owners in what has been described by many as a shambolic effort by Chelsea in the Premier League and beyond this season.
