Chelsea and England midfielder Conor Gallagher has recently ranked Manchester City star Rodri in third place on his Top 10 'Blind Ranking'. This ranking places the Spanish international ahead of football legends like David Beckham, Mesut Ozil, and Roy Keane.
In a recent interaction on England’s Official TikTok account, Gallagher showered praise on Rodri. The Chelsea midfielder has faced the Spanish international multiple times at club level and clearly holds him in high regard. Only former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes and City legend David Silva were ranked higher by Gallagher.

Rodri continued to impress while representing Spain at the European Championships as well. He performed exceptionally well against Croatia and Spain before being sidelined due to suspension during their match against Albania.

Despite his stellar performances throughout this season, there was widespread surprise among fans when Premier League did not include him in their shortlist for Player of The Season last month.
However, as indicated by Conor Gallagher’s ranking list - it is highly unlikely that fellow players will overlook him when nominations are announced for Professional Footballers' Association award later this year in August. Both he and Foden are expected to be strong contenders for this prestigious award.
