According to Liverpool legend, Arsenal have an equal chance of winning the title as City

Jamie Carragher, Sky Sports pundit, has given a fresh verdict on the Premier League following Arsenal's dominant victory against Bournemouth at Emirates Stadium. The Gunners put three past their visitors with Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard and Declan Rice all on target.

The win saw Arsenal increase their goal difference to 60. Another three points also took them four clear of Manchester City. However, that gap will likely return to one following City's clash against Wolves on Saturday evening.

With just a few weeks remaining of the season, Mikel Arteta was asked for his latest thoughts on the title race. When asked if Man City will be feeling the nerves after Arsenal's win.

Mikel Arteta, Arsenal manager, said:

"Very excited, we've done it for nine and a half months now. There's two weeks to go, we really want to get it done. We're closer than we were yesterday and hopefully, we can bring the title here."

Carragher says Arsemal aren’t scared like last season

Carragher referenced this difference between now and last season's Premier League title race as particularly interesting given how the Gunners crumbled as the battle intensified last year.

Sky Sports pundit, Jamie Carragher, said:

"I don't think so really, you could imagine if it was Arsenal, but it feels different at Arsenal after watching them earlier.

"A convincing performance and it doesn't feel the same [at Arsenal] as last season but I don't think City get nervous, the results tell you that and not just this season but also seasons gone by."

Arsenal have tough schedule to tackle in coming weeks

Defeats to Bayern Munich and Aston Villa last month saw fears of another blip emerge for Arsenal. However, they have emphatically answered those concerns with victories against Wolves, Chelsea, Tottenham and now Bournemouth - scoring 13 goals while conceding just two in these matches.

Arsenal is set to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford next weekend before welcoming Everton to north London on the final day of the season. Meanwhile Man City will travel to Fulham next weekend with another away clash following a few days later against Tottenham; their campaign ends at home against West Ham.

This season has seen an impressive turnaround for Arsenal compared to their performance in previous seasons' title races. With key victories under their belt and a strong position in the league, the Gunners are showing promise of a successful season. As we approach the final weeks, fans and pundits alike will be watching closely to see if Arsenal can maintain their momentum and secure a top spot in the Premier League.
